This episode is going to be for people who find themselves regularly being triggered, and being thrown into a bad mood, or they having physical symptoms that come back again and again.

If you are tired of being triggered, and tired of having ‘flare ups’ regularly, well this episode is going to give you a new perspective on being triggered. You will be able to use this information to learn more about yourself, and start to see the patterns of your own triggers.

Plus, you will get to hear about a recent experience where I got triggered, and how it affected me, as well as how I shifted it.

In this episode:

  • The biology of triggers and how they are created in your unconscious mind during unexpected emotional conflicts.
  • How your brain does not know the difference between a real stress or an imagined stress
  • How triggers can take over your body and mind making you experience changes in behaviour and physical symptoms.
  • How to avoid feeling triggered and getting thrown into a frenzy.
  • One of my favourite analogies for how triggers work - imagine being on a airplane that is going through really really bad turbulence.
  • How your symptoms start from an unexpected emotional conflict and how your unconscious mind will take a snapshot of everything you see, hear, smell, taste, touch or sense during a stressful situation.
  • These reminders are here to keep you SAFE! When you are reminded of these triggers, your body will physically adapt again to prepare you for ‘danger’.
  • Understanding the original emotional conflict allows you to start to create awareness of your triggers, awareness is key to triggers dissolving away.
  • How to get out of a pity party, victim mentality when you are triggered.
  • Why you will repeat dysfunctional patterns over again and again.
  • What are triggers here to teach you, how you can reframe triggers so you can grow personally!
