Diagnosed with advanced stage cancer at just six months of age, Jen Peer Rich PhD began a fraught journey of transformation long before she was old enough to comprehend its significance. She would go on to survive trauma, institutionalization, and addiction, before transcending these obstacles through education, the loving support of her family and healing in nature. Despite chronic health issues, Jen now lives a dynamic, purposeful life as a disabled, neurodivergent scholar, advocate, author, and speaker committed to studying our deepest inner landscapes and their constant evolution. Jen has a master’s degree in Transpersonal Ecopsychology and completed doctoral studies for a PhD at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
Our conversation is beautiful and embodies the true essence of love and healing in the world. Jen and I speak about life and the traumas that shape us, how to truly cleanse, and how to grow in the shadow.
