The Queens begin the seventh book of the Wheel of Time series, A Crown of Swords. We'd like to emphasize our trigger warnings throughout book seven. Please see trigger warnings below.
In the aftermath on Dumai Wells, our friends return to find someone upon a throne that is not theirs. Meanwhile in Salidar, Egwene receives some blackmail. In this episode the Queens question how much free will is involved in Aiel marriages, Queen Marissa presents us with her Mother, Maiden, Crone theory, and Queen Marissa and Queen Al both share a little bit of lore. Theories are thrown out as Egwene dreams and Queen Alix ignores them, laughing fits ensue at the idea of a particular character's dating profile and we ponder more biblical references. That is to say, join us as we read the Prologue to the end of Chapter 10 of Book Seven of The Wheel of Time, A Crown of Swords by Robert Jordan.
