Ahoy there, surfers and beach lovers! It's time to catch the wave with your surf forecast report from the National Weather Service. Let's dive in and see what the tides have in store for us along the California coast, from Malibu to Santa Barbara!
Starting off with Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches - today, we're looking at a moderate rip current risk. Surf height is 2 to 4 feet, water temperatures ranging from 57 to 62 degrees. Keep an eye out for that south swell. And for Friday, expect more of the same with a mix of south and west swell.
Ventura County Beaches are also facing a moderate rip current risk today with surf heights of 2 to 4 feet and water temperatures between 57 to 60 degrees. Look out for that mixed south and west swell. Friday brings a similar forecast with moderate rip current risk continuing.
Now, moving down to Santa Barbara County where the rip current risk is low today with surf heights of 1 to 3 feet. Water temperatures around 56 to 58 degrees with a west swell in play. Friday brings more of the low rip current risk with similar surf heights and a continuation of the west swell.
Further up north at San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches, we're looking at surf heights of 3 to 6 feet today with mixed west and south swell. Water temperatures are cooler between 52 to 54 degrees. For Friday, expect similar surf heights and conditions with a mix of west and south swell.
Remember, always keep an eye out for rip currents and stay safe out there in the water! This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a swell! Thank you for listening.
