Ahoy there, surfers and beachgoers! It's time for your daily dose of surf zone forecasts straight from the National Weather Service. Let's dive in and see what the waves have in store for us today and tomorrow!
Starting off at the Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches, we've got a light rip current risk with surf heights ranging from 1 to 3 feet. Don't expect any thunderstorms, but the water temperature will be a comfortable 62 to 68 degrees. Keep an eye on the tides and enjoy the mixed south swell today, transitioning to a mix of south and west swell tomorrow.
Ventura County Beaches are looking similar with a low rip current risk, 1 to 3 feet surf heights, and water temperatures between 64 to 67 degrees. No thunderstorms in sight, just perfect conditions to catch some waves with a mix of south and west swell.
Moving on to Santa Barbara County, we're looking at 1 to 3 feet surf heights and a low rip current risk. Enjoy the mild water temperature around 64 degrees and watch out for the incoming west swell tomorrow. It's going to be a swell time out there!
For San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches, get ready for 3 to 5 feet surf heights today transitioning to 2 to 4 feet tomorrow. With mixed west and south swells, it's shaping up to be a fun weekend out on the water.
Remember, always keep an eye out for those rip currents, even on low-risk days. And most importantly, have a blast catching those waves and soaking up the sunshine. This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening.
