A poll in 2017 found that 284 million people across the globe reported having some type of anxiety disorder….and this number represents only those who acknowledge having problems with anxiety.A poll in 2017 found that 284 million people across the globe reported having some type of anxiety disorder….and this number represents only those who acknowledge having problems with anxiety.

How many people have anxiety and are too ashamed to admit it? The “real” numbers are likely staggering.

And what if you have anxiety but you don’t want to take medication? What do you do in that case?

This week’s podcast guest, Health Coach Cathy Perez, will discuss how individuals with emotional eating issues can directly address their food issues and reduce the possibility of anxiety caused by emotional eating.

The remedy is simpler than you might think and does not require going on any kind of medication or therapy

Cathy will share with you:

  • How making “decisions in advance” is they key to calming your mind and reducing anxiety
  • How to train your brain to feel safe and calm the ruminating thoughts
  • Simple strategies to use any time your anxiety starts to creep up

All of Cathy’s concepts and suggestions are in alignment with what I teach in the Breakthrough Membership. If you want to learn more about how we address over-thinking and how it relates to emotional eating, click on this link and I will connect you with all of the gold that exists within the monthly membership.
