Kayla is the host of the podcast, Liturgies for Parents and the author of To Light Their Way. Her new book is called Every Season Sacred and it’s an invitation for families to slow down, ask questions, and grow closer to Jesus in an intentional way.

Today Kayla and I talk about the difference between being a consumer Christian and a Christian who is active in faith and relationship with Jesus, how to care for our own souls so we can live into our values and bring our kids into a faith journey, and how family faith rhythms and liturgies can help us connect with Jesus and each other as a family.

I really love the question she challenges us to think about for our own families: what do we want people to see in our family that makes them realize we are different as followers of Jesus?
