I grew up with two sisters so coming from an all-girl family, I was completely unprepared to have two sons. But as soon as I felt adjusted to life as a boy mom, I had a daughter! Raising a daughter is everything I always dreamed it would be, and also as challenging as I imagined it would be. Which is why I am so grateful for wise experts like today’s guest, Kari Kampakis.
Kari is a mom of four girls, the host of the Girl Mom podcast, and author of several books including, More Than a Mom and Love Her Well.
While being a girl is so different today than it was when we were growing up, some things remain relatively the same and one of those things is the challenge of learning to navigate friendships. Today Kari and I cover some of the messaging that girls receive about themselves and how we can reframe those messages, how to raise kind daughters, the importance of speaking truth over our girls, how to navigate friendships, and Kari reminds us that it all goes back to Jesus.
