Aspartame, despite the only seeming recent coverage linking it directly to all manner of horrifying cancers many folks may believe is a new discovery. In fact, not only are both untrue, but also there are records clearly documenting the fact that this substance had been submitted before the FDA for approval before!
This is a podcast on it's own, suffice it to say this attempt was years ago and flatly rejected.
Today?
This stuff is everywhere....
Gum, cough drops, powdered drinks, all manner of diet drinks, and on and on and on.
Let this broadcast to constrain to limit this show to only the ugly truth behind how this sweetener is made, the known facts of the initial FDA sumission, and why it was REJECTED as well as while in doing this, the manner in which is DID finally get approval.
(NOTE: BY YEARS AGO, IT WAS DECADES, IN FACT!)
Those trials will be thoroughly revealed in an upcoming episode.
A real eye-opener, and perhaps nausea/potential vomit reaction as well....
