When I reflect on vulnerability, it often evokes emotions such as fear, uncertainty, or even shame. In our society, many of us have been taught to avoid appearing vulnerable, particularly men who may face societal expectations. In this episode, I am delighted to be joined by Neema Nazeri, a talented actor, comedian, and social media personality. Together, we delve into the topic of vulnerability and explore how Neema overcame various challenges to pursue his passion relentlessly.
Who is Neema?
Neema is an Iranian-Canadian-born comedian, actor, and social media personality. He has over 172k followers on Instagram and over 517k followers on TikTok. He hosts and produces his own TV show called Estupid News, which features new episodes every Thursday at 5 PM on his YouTube Channel.
In 2014, Neema Nazeri decided to drop out of the University of Toronto, where he was studying Kinesiology, to pursue comedy full-time.
