TJ and Fizz discuss what’s good and bad about ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1’. As ever, they don’t always see eye to eye, but that will give you, dear listeners, some fun things to chew on. They also discuss the redesign of the MovieByte website, Disney’s live action ‘Cinderella’ trailer (no, really, it’s a thing), the Russos possibly directing ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ parts one and two as opposed to Joss Whedon — which leads to a lot of discussion — and of course what theaters will have the ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ trailer.

As you can see, I have just rolled out the second major redesign (or third version) of the MovieByte website.Disney’s Live Action ‘Cinderella’ Trailer
I’ve said in the past that I am just not the target demographic for this film, and that remains true. I’m not sure why we need this film or what it offers to compel me to go to the theaters to see it.Russo Brothers May Direct ‘Avengers: Infinity War’
The thing is, I’m completely and utterly torn on this. I’m just a bit of a Joss Whedon fan and I wanted to see him keep directing the Avengers films. At the same time I realize that these films have to be the most exhausting to make in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and he’s probably a bit burnt out. If someone is going to take the helm from him, it might as well be the Russos, because they did a fantastic job with The Winter Soldier — even if I took minor issue with their cinematography choices sometimes‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Trailer Debut In 9 Select Regal Theaters — What?

Yes! My theater in Franklin, TN is on this list (the Carmike, Thoroughbred 20)! I’m excited. Guess I’ll be making the drive into Franklin for my film this weekend though I haven’t been driving that far lately.Thai Cinema Chain Pulls ‘Mockingjay’ On Account of the 3-Finger Salute
Had tickets to see The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 in Thailand? You might be seeing a Woody Allen film instead. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 — Review
I found the film to be compelling, it did in fact have some action which I deemed to be enough for me, I liked the pacing and much of the acting, the story is improved upon from the book, and I quite enjoyed watching the film in the theater. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 — IMDb
When Katniss destroys the games, she goes to District 13 after District 12 is destroyed. She meets President Coin who convinces her to be the symbol of rebellion, while trying to save Peeta from the Capitol. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 — Rotten Tomatoes
Critics Consensus: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 sets up the franchise finale with a penultimate chapter loaded with solid performances and smart political subtext, though it comes up short on the action front. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 — Box Office Mojo
