Happy New Year. It’s been a long time since the Word Bros left you a dope podcast for you to step to but we’ve been busy putting the final touches on our upcoming book “The Dust Pirates” (which we will chat about later.)We’d also like to welcome our new subscribers!

This week, we welcome Kris Longo. Kris is a cool dude with a killer gig, he is the Associate Publisher & CSO of Heavy Metal Entertainment. We had a blast chatting about Heavy Metal’s growing presence in the comic market place, growing up in the swamps of New Jersey, the influence of Mad and Heavy Metal Magazine on our early lives, and the art of buying a sweet denim jacket. Give it a listen!

The book itself is completed and in the hands our printer. But we are sad to say that the project hit a snag in the form of the worldwide paper shortage and shipping delays that is effecting the industry as a whole.
