Good morning, Columbus! Bundle up because winter is giving us a chilly wake-up call today.
We've got a cold weather advisory in effect, so let's break down what Mother Nature has planned for us. Today's high is struggling to reach a mere 14 degrees Farenheit, with wind chill values dipping down to negative 7 degrees. Talk about a freeze fest!
Expect some scattered snow showers and flurries throughout the day, with a possible light accumulation of less than half an inch. Our winds will be dancing around from south to west, gusting up to 21 miles per hour. Pro tip: layer up like you're preparing for an Arctic expedition!
Tonight, we're looking at a clear and frigid evening with temperatures dropping to a bone-chilling negative 6 degrees Farenheit. Wednesday continues the winter wonderland theme with increasing clouds and a high near 18 degrees Farenheit.
Thursday brings a slight chance of snow after 1 pm, with temperatures climbing to a comparatively balmy 29 degrees Farenheit. The weekend looks a bit more promising, with partly sunny skies and temperatures inching closer to the mid-30s.
By Sunday, we might see a mixed bag of rain and snow, keeping things interesting in the weather department.
