Hey there! Welcome to your favorite weather update with the National Weather Service. Let's dive into what's cooking in Washington, District of Columbia.
Today, we're looking at scattered showers and thunderstorms rolling in, followed by showers and perhaps a thunderstorm after 4pm. Expect a high near 93 degrees Fahrenheit with a heat index potentially reaching as high as 100. Winds coming from the southwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour, with gusts up to 18 miles per hour.
Tonight, showers and thunderstorms are likely before 2 am, then isolated showers here and there. The low will be around 74 degrees Fahrenheit with a southwest wind at 5 to 7 miles per hour.
Moving on to Sunday, we'll see isolated showers and thunderstorms early on, then scattered showers throughout the day under partly sunny skies. The high will be near 90 degrees Fahrenheit with a slight drop in the chance of precipitation.
