This week I'm flying solo and in the spirit of transparency, discuss my own story of recovery and rediscovery of who I really am beyond labels.
I initially began practicing yoga as a way to work out and sweat, but soon realized there was more it could offer me. Like many others, I have found yoga to be truly life giving and an important tool to my recovery and rediscovery.
We often hear about body, mind and spiritual balance in our lives, but what does this really mean?
Some say addiction is, in its essence, a spiritual malady. Some people are put off by religion. For me and many others, yoga, union with your true self, can offer you real freedom.
I will open up about what has been hard, whats been good and what I continue to learn and struggle with.
