Social isolation and loneliness lead to depression, which harms both mental and physical health. According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, in 2022, over 1 in 6 Australians were experiencing loneliness. This trend has been increasing since 2012. In line with this social isolation, we are also seeing an increasing crime rate. What is it in the system of our modern way of life that is making many people increasingly unhappy and stressed?
My special guest today is Michaell Magrutsche, a creativity-awareness educator, author of 5 books, podcaster, speaker, guide, and former Arts-Commissioner. And I would add to that, somewhat of a philosopher too.
