Chris Padavana former owner of Eden Bicycles is back for his third appearance on the show. We talk about the factors that led up to his decision to sell the shop right as the covid pandemic was coming to a close and how he got out at the best possible time as the market has really taken a turn since he has been out of the industry. Bicycle Retail is challenging for many reasons staffing, long hours, shrinking market, company stores, online sales, etc.. It seems like the Independent Bicycle Retailer (IBR) is being attacked from all angles, but it is not all doom and gloom. We all agree that even with all of the challenges there will always be solid demand for a quality IBR! We also touch on retired life, Chris seems to be adapting to it nicely and he has Dave and I a little Jealous ;) Ahh maybe one day but neither of us can see that just yet. Enjoy!
