Jenna began her career in 2006 as a certified personal trainer and mindset coach for celebrities like Ben Stiller, Katy Perry, Jeremy Piven, Saudi Arabian royalty, and the Marciano family (founders of Guess).
In 2011, she discovered the world of emotional intelligence, experiential trainings, and somatic practices. She then realized she had a bigger calling and began studying human behavior, leadership, and a variety of transformational methods.
She became passionate about coaching larger groups of influencers and leaders to make a responsible, profound, and sustainable impact in their relationships, companies, and communities. So, In 2016, she co-founded Ascension Leadership Academy (ALA) with her husband Brad Ballard ALA’s students have collectively raised over $3.5MM for local non-profit organizations.
As a mother of two boys, she is consciously creating the next generation of leaders and makes sure to be a giant 5 year old with them. She says "We don’t stop playing because we get older, we get older because we stop playing"

We dive into her 1st birth compared to her redemption birth and how the power of somatics and what we manifest and pray for is so important. I helped empower Jenna to navigate the gaslighting and bullying that most experience, but with her type 1 diabetes and of course being advanced maternal age I knew she would experience a little more than the average. I want to note that I do point out the things I witnessed not to diminish her incredible birth, but to bring attention to the abuse that is so subtle in the system that only the doula can spot it. Type 1 diabetes and over 35 years old are not reasons to exclude you from the option of Home birth.
