This week on the New Bridge Radio Show Kevin welcomes special guest Lisa Jones.
Lisa Jones is a divorced mom of three teens. All three of her kids have either a physical or mental condition that has and will need continued treatment.
Her eldest son has struggled with diabetes, plus ADHD and Bipolar 2 disorder.
Accompanying her son on his journey and living with his mental illness has been a life-altering experience for Lisa.
Seeing the stigma, fear and dearth of services bestowed upon him and others like him has been stunning.
As a result, affecting change, spreading knowledge and giving support has become Lisa’s mission.
Lisa serves on the Board of Directors of a large mental health not for profit in New Jersey. She is a very spiritual woman and a comedian who has learned to be resilient and diligent in her mission to create change.
