Tanji attributes her military upbringing to being able to be very resilient in different environments now. Tanji attended the U.S. Air Force Academy where she gained leadership discipline, confidence, and a hard work ethic. In her senior year in the academy is when she started lifting weights and really getting into bodybuilding. She later started her professional career as a fitness competitor.
Leaving a stable and secure job with the military Tanji pursued her fitness career and later became a personal trainer and has graced the covers of a number of fitness magazines. She talks about finding her niche in the industry as a posing coach and really being able to financially scale her business. Business owners should find a niche in their industry that has underserved or unmet needs.Tanji talks about finding your niche in your passion and developing your skill in the industry.
