The six candidates for the Hamilton Southeastern school board met last week for their only joint forum before the November general election. Eight candidates are running for Indianapolis Public School Board in the upcoming election. The Indiana Chamber of Commerce estimates that lack of affordable childcare options and other issues cost the state more than $4 billion annually.
