The importance of skin testing & the consequences
Adam Haste is a specialist insurance broker, who has been in the industry for over 24 years. He works with very large companies with huge turnovers and high service expectations.
After helping a large number of salons gain payouts for loss of earnings during COVID, he began to work with Sentio salons to build more sector specific insurance policies for salons that better suited their needs.
Adam has helped to update the rulebook on allergy alert testing, and he shares the do's and don'ts to ensure that you comply with insurance and regulations.
We discuss the cosmetics directive and how this dictates the requirements of product companies regarding labelling & ingredients.
We look at PPD & its derivatives, and how these can cause alergies.
He shares why skin testing is so important, and the potential consequences of not carrying this out.
