Sam Tejada discovered the health benefits of nutrient intravenous therapy during his tenure as a firefighter and paramedic for Oakland Park, Florida. He developed a keen interest in holistic medicine, attended countless seminars, and was mentored by board-certified cardiac surgeon and preventive medicine expert Dr. Robert Willix.

In 2013, Sam opened the first Liquivida in Coconut Creek, Florida. The company has since evolved into a multi-million-dollar company with franchise locations throughout the country.
