Joining from Central California via zoom is Lacey Hayes, daughter of Chuck Strange from SZN 4 EP 13.
Lacey discusses some of the challenges that come along with growing up with her Father being a Police Officer, which is a topic not often discussed in our first responder and military community. We discussed the challenges of your parent being in harms way, the knock at the door, being "on call", and the dark humor that comes with your parent being a first responder.
Lacey and her 2 year old puppy, Ash, are a team for First Responder Therapy Dogs, a great Non-Profit Organization benefiting our first responder community. Lacey broke down the process of getting onboarded, station visits, and the benefits to having a furry puppy visit our first responders and service members.
Also, Greg gave an update on everything regarding T.O.C. including the app, therapy stats, therapists, etc.
