WHAT IS AN ENENY? An enemy is a person who is actively opposed or is hostile to someone or something.
When you look in the mirror would you ever say or think that you are your own worst enemy?
You know we talk about your brain trying to keep you safe because it cares for you, loves you even. But what if we look at our mind as the enemy – that thing that is actively opposed to us getting uncomfortable in our workouts or in our nutrition in order to improve our health.
The mind becomes HOSTILE and works hard to turn you back to your old bad habits. It tries to tell you that you are safe in your comfort zone with your comfort food. And that it will take care of you, but it is actually acting as an enemy of your state.
So what is your worst enemy telling you today about working out? That you are tired or that you don’t have enough time or that tomorrow is better.
Notice the voice and then go do it anyway. Get the job done today because tomorrow it will be the same. It is a battle you will fight over and over. But you will win because you’ve got me here to push you through.
Go get that MIDLIFE body MOVING!
