There’s one thing that we do every day that’s necessary for our lives and which the lack of is a major contributor to disease in our bodies: Sleep.

Lack of sleep affects millions of people—and that’s not including those suffering from insomnia. And how much sleep a person needs to live a healthy life is not always a simple answer. Sleep can impact you mentally, emotionally, and physically, from driving cortisol levels to affecting your appetite hormones, obesity, and changing the way you show up in your relationships, so it’s vital we get this part of our lives dialed in.

Devin Burke is an International and TEDx speaker, bestselling author of “The Sleep Advantage,” the founder of Sleep Science Academy, and one of the top health and sleep coaches in the world. His books, keynotes, programs, and videos have inspired thousands of people to improve their sleep, energy, and life. Devin Burke helps high achievers and exhausted insomniacs get and stay asleep so they can wake up with more peace, power, and presence. In this interview, Devin shares some of his favorite tools when it comes to optimizing sleep, including temperature variation, weighted blanket, inclined sleeping, and many others.
